I would like to wish the Percussion team headed to Austin a huge Good Luck!  You have worked very hard and your dedication has paid  off!  Go get 'em in Austin!
FLAG FUNDRAISER:  It’s almost time for our next Flag Holiday for Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2012.  Pick up flags from the school on Saturday, November 10th from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.  Return flags to the school on Monday November 12thfrom 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.  The flag carts will be available in the band parking lot for loading flags into vehicles.  Pick up your routing packets in the hall next to the small commons area.  Tables will be set up by neighborhood routing areas, so get there early if you want to make sure to get a route in your choice of neighborhood.
 
Please refer to the band website:  http://www.cycreekband.com/ to see if you are signed up to help with Veteran’s Day flags.  Go to the Fundraiser Page, bottom right corner, “Sign Up List.”  Some of the names have been added to the bottom of the list that haven’t been re-alphabetized yet, so please check all the way to the bottom.  The Sign Up List also shows completed flag holiday and flier assignments.  Please report any issues with students assigned to help with Veteran’s Day or the completed assignments for Labor Day/Patriot’s Day and Fliers to Gail Eissler at geissler@comcast.net.
 
Volunteers Needed:  Joe Blanc is coordinating getting the carts to and from the parking lot.  We need another Dad to help Joe and student volunteers to get the flag carts to the parking lot for pickup and back into the band hall after flags are brought back.  Please contact Gail Eissler at geissler@comcast.net if you would be willing to help with flag carts onNovember 10th from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M and/or Monday November 12th from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
 
See you November 10th!  Remember to wear your flag shirt or band shirt.  Flag shirts will be available for purchase on Saturday, November 10th if you still want one!  Thanks for all your support and hard work on this project!


End of Season Marching Dinner


The dinner will be held in the large commons on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 6:30 pm. Napoli’s will be providing the choice of spaghetti dinner or vegetable lasagna, with salad and bread. A dessert will also be provided.  Reservation form attached.  Please place payment in the blue box.  Senior students will be admitted free, but still must make a reservation.
